Product Introduction
Heat inactivation of serum is performed by incubating it at 56 °C for 30 minutes. This process inactivates complement proteins and prevents complement-mediated cell lysis in antibody-dependent assays.
Product Application
It can be used for culturing induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs), embryonic stem cells (ESCs), and related cell types, and is suitable for long-term culture of human and mouse embryonic stem cells, adult stem cells, and primary cells. Heat-inactivated serum is recommended for cell culture in immunological research.
