Product Introduction
It is made from healthy rat blood as the raw material, with aseptic blood collection performed in a closed system and subsequent microporous membrane filtration. It is a clear liquid, free of bacteriophages, with ultra-low endotoxin levels, no hemolysis, no foreign particles, and free of bacteria, fungi, and mycoplasma; it is suitable for biomedical research applications, including basic scientific research and diagnostic reagent development.
Serum is commonly used as a supplement in cell culture media and serves multiple functions: it provides macromolecular proteins and low-molecular-weight nutrients—including amino acids, carbohydrates, and vitamins; enhances the buffering capacity of the medium; binds to or neutralizes toxic components; reduces oxidative stress and apoptosis in cultured cells; and supplies growth-promoting factors that help cells adapt to the in vitro culture environment.

Product Application
Rat serum is primarily used for animal immunization and the preparation of serum IgG. It is also employed as a blocking reagent in pathological staining, ELISA, and other immunoassays, and is suitable for cell culture as well as the development and production of viral vaccines.
